Saturday 11th July – Miscast – Musical theatre and refrehments, from 6.30pm

Join us for an evening of Miscast performances, featuring local talented artists presenting much‑loved musical theatre songs performed by both soloists and groups. 

Food will be available from 6.30pm, along with a licensed bar, making it a perfect night to relax and enjoy great entertainment.

The music begins at 7.30pm, so come along, settle in, and support our wonderful community of performers.

Get creative together at ourWet Felting Workshopa fun, hands‑on session led by experienced tutor Mairi Campbell. Using wool, water, soap and simple techniques, you’ll discover how soft fibres transform into colourful felt — then make your own unique felted picture to take home.

Perfect for families, beginners, and anyone who loves experimenting with colour and texture, this relaxed workshop is suitable for all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult).

Discover the traditional craft of turning fleece into yarn at our Drop Spindle Spinning Workshop led by textile expert Mairi Campbell .

Learn to spin wool using a traditional drop spindle, explore the unique qualities of different sheep breeds, and create your own colourful woven picture to take home. Along the way, uncover the rich social history of spinning and weaving in rural Scotland and the women who kept these skills alive. Ideal for anyone interested in craft, textile art, or local heritage.

Discover the Colours of Scotland at our hands‑on Natural Dye Workshop.

Join artists Ann Ross and Mairi Campbell for a creative day exploring how native plants have been used for centuries to produce natural dyes. Enjoy a live dye‑pot demonstration, a guided walk to identify traditional dye plants, and the chance to handle naturally dyed yarns and fabrics before creating your own yarn landscape picture to take home.

Suitable for ages 16+, with a maximum of 10 participants.

Wolf Tales: Stories and Music

Wolf Tales : An enchanting evening celebrating community creativity with an atmospheric concert by WildWood Cello Duo exploring our connections to wolves through stories and music surrounded by a visual exhibition in the picturesque Trossachs Church. This event is FREE! There will be a free shuttle bus running from Callander at 6.30pm. Please sign up for bus ticket on eventbrite using the QR code in the Wolf Tales Shuttle bus picture or email friends@trossachschurch.co.uk to book seats. This event has been sponsored by Culture Night Stirling.

The concert will be followed by a wolf themed house ceilidh open mic at Brig o Turk Tearoom.

Callander Jazz & Blues Festival - Jenne McClure & Cameron Buchanan

Come and experience the vibrant sounds of jazz at Trossachs Church, featuring the talented Jenné McClure & Cameron Buchanan. As part of this year’s Callander Jazz & Blues Festival, they’ll be exploring the many colours of jazz, weaving together styles from blues and Latin to pop, rock, and fusion.

Jenné McClure brings a rich performance history, having played in diverse ensembles and held several residencies across Edinburgh.

·Cameron Buchanan, a graduate of Leeds College of Music and Guildhall School of Music & Drama, now shares his expertise as a guitar tutor at the University of the Highlands and Islands.

🎺 Expect an afternoon of musical brilliance, warm hospitality, and tasty treats — including our usual tea, coffee & cake, plus some BBQ lunch options to keep you fuelled and festive!
